Our Experience

We have a near-100% success-rate with projects that we have taken on. Since we started in 2006 we have developed or worked on a large number of different projects. Even under difficult circumstances and when making a financial loss (which has happened in one or two cases) we have delivered.

Projects that we have done so far:

Poll-provider

This is a tiny web interface that can be embedded via iframe into any existing website to get responses on polls and questions. It also has an administrative part where new Polls / Questions can be created and individually styled.

Brokerage admin

This Program was developed to handle futures trading in cattle administration. It has an innovative outlook-like interface with multiple panes that allow easy selection of information to display. Data gets imported into the system automatically via a secure ftp connection.

College Program reviews

For accreditation and improvement of the standard of courses the college has regular reviews scheduled based on a predefined question list. The answers for the self-evaluation get reviewed by an external committee who then refers it back to the college for possible changes to be made. The system captures the (extensive) data which can contain rich text and multimedia and generates reports. An existing program was taken and extensively redesigned and rewritten to make it work for the clients' needs.

Student records data warehouse

An old program written mostly in FoxPro was rewritten to import and transform data into a relational database format for easy reference.

Faculty rosters information

This keeps track of all the faculty at a college who serve in different roles, their credentials and the courses they teach for the mandatory statutory reporting and accreditation purposes.

Compuconcepts Task Tracker

When Compuconcepts India was started we soon realized that we need a reliable way to capture tasks and times spent on them in order to bill our clients accurately. This is how the system came into being. It has evolved to such an extent now that we also give our clients access to the system and use it for many other purposes. This is CRM software for the small company that keep track of all the activities in the organization like tasks, projects, employees, time booking, leave management system, reports etc. Licensing for this program is available for a hosted solution (hosted on our own dedicated server in the USA) or if you want to host it on your own server.

Case Tool Maintenance

This generates easily maintainable ASP.Net pages that work with a mysql database. It uses a simple form interface that allows for quickly creating a working web application, but is also flexible enough to allow for the more tricky procedures. We did not develop it, but took over the maintenance of it and used it in some of our projects.

We took over the maintenance of this site that manages bookings and staff applications for a youth retreat centre.

This system manages a chronic medicine delivery system that keeps track of their patients, medicines, Lots, patient calls and deliveries.

Medical equipment rentals management

It is a web-based information tracking tool to assist in the daily customer support services for the rental of medical equipment.

The primary components of this program include the accreditation, HIPAA/Security, Regulatory, Management tools, Revenue Retention, Equipment Management, clinical tools, and some optional add on modules. All of these components have been created to assist staff members and reduce the amount of manual time spent maintaining required information.

This program can also be run offline and when the internet connection is available data can be synchronized with the central server. This synchronization works through the intranet and internet both. Program and database structure updates also get pushed to the workstations that use the software offline. Licenses and demonstrations for this program is available in the US if required.

Transformer sales and repairs management.

This web application manages customers, inventory, sales, repairs, invoicing, delivery and management reporting. Movement of stock is captured through a barcode scanner.

Agricultural Lab management

In this project the users can accept samples of Soil, plant, Feed, water (etc) and specify the tests and cost of the test that needs to be performed. The test results gets uploaded from the machines that does the analyzing and detail reports and recommendations based on predefined levels (by purpose and crop) can be printed for the customers. It also does invoicing.

Oil and Gas drilling

This is a huge system that helps the company to capture and report on all operations including drilling, production, wells, facilities ,equipment and maintenance, pumpers, etc. This system allows offline capturing of drilling data with synchronization to the central web server. It is also email-enabled to keep all role players informed.

This program was developed to keep track of and report on all the children in a foster home for statutory purposes.

Ostrich skin website and order system

This website allows users to select the colours and finishes that they would want to order and order it online. Administrator functions allow for uploading stock numbers and handling different regions.

Chamber of commerce portal

This website has many static information pages, but also a way for members to place adds of their business, make blog entries and participate in forums. The business directory can be used to find a service provider for your requirement.

Doctor's consent

We recently took over the maintenance on a site that allows doctors to create detailed descriptions (based on templates) of medical procedures with all the risks involved. A PDF is then generated that can be emailed or given to a patient who has to sign it to give consent for the procedure to be performed on him/her. The patient can be given access to the site to see more detail provided in the form of files or links and can also communicate questions to the doctor who can in turn respond on the questions.

Access conversion

A compiled access program cannot be edited. The client lost the uncompiled version and we had to build it again by using the compiled one as reference.

Dentist finder portal

The internet user can find a dentist who is closest to his own pin code. Dentists subscribe and pay in order to be listed.

Google maps was used to show a map of the location of the dentist.

Software distribution management

This is a suite of products which covers the following:

• Updating of remote workstations. The software provider uploads new versions on the web server via a website interface and on the client side the version is downloaded, extracted and implemented. (It works for many different kinds of software)
• Licensing.
• Support. Support requests gets posted to the software provider when errors occur or when the user wants to report any problem.

Student social network

A facebook-like social network to be run at a university/college focusing on easy sharing of articles, videos, etc. There is more moderating built into the structure than in other social networks.

Making it easy for a person in a company to capture good ideas (also anonymous if necessary) that can then be rated and voted for and (hopefully) implemented.

File copy

It’s a tiny patch program to copy everyday files to their required location and run their executable program after copying the files.

Pay Bills

This small web interface allow users to pay bills online after giving the last 3 digits of their ssn number using authorize.net
